Carmel Quinn
Information
Carmel Quinn is an Australian-born, New York-based creative manager who finds great joy in leading creative teams and driving creative projects. Fascinated by the psychology of creativity and connectivity, and the tension between process and product, Carmel received a Bachelor of Design from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University in 2009, and a Master of Business from the Queensland University of Technology in 2012. She has worked at Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art, Hugo & Marie and Bon Duke Studio. She joined Warby Parker’s New York headquarters as creative manager in 2018, and in 2021 became senior manager, creative operations.
With operational discipline and openness to discovery, Carmel specializes in creative resourcing, systems and workflow development, creative project management and production—to build and nurture team culture, optimize workflow efficiency, and inspire exceptional creative output—all the while ensuring systems serve the work rather than constrain it.
Her work encompasses identity and branding systems, packaging and publication design, print collateral and book production, environmental and motion graphics, photo and video production, art buying and art production, integrated marketing experiences, digital product, lifecycle campaigns, educational content, unique artist collaborations and special projects. Motivated by a passion for the creative process, Carmel champions collaboration and communication to orchestrate the success of projects large and small—from inception and planning to execution and completion—encouraging enjoyment in efficiency and always looking for the best, most beautiful solution.
